Welcome! Ashburn Core Pilates is a boutique studio located in the heart of Ashburn, Virginia. We are equipped with Pilates reformers, chairs, a tower, ladder barrel, arc barrels and everyone's favorites small props! 

What makes us so special at Ashburn Core Pilates?

We're so glad you asked! We bridge the gap between private sessions (though we do offer privates), and large group classes. Our classes are small group, limited to 5 clients, so you can expect attention to detail, with emphasis on form and alignment. We are an inclusive studio, welcoming all sizes and fitness levels. We're dedicated to giving you an excellent Pilates class where you'll see results, meet your goals, and have fun at the same time!

So what is Pilates anyway? Maybe you've heard or read the name but aren't really sure what exactly it is.

Don't worry, you aren't alone!

Pilates is a form of exercise that focuses on strengthening the core and learning to engage the inner core muscles. Its not only an "ab workout" though... the rest of the body is strengthened! Pilates trains your body to keep the core muscles engaged while also moving and working other parts of the body. This creates more efficient movement, correct body alignment, better posture, body awareness. All good things which contribute to long term health and movement!


There are so many benefits of Pilates. Several are mentioned above. First and foremost it increases your physical well-being, of course! Pilates focuses strongly on strengthening the core muscles, but its not only ab-work. Each session is a full-body work out and it can be surprising how connected different parts of the body are.


Pilates creates a balance throughout the body and improves posture. Pilates allows your body to move more efficiently and creates better body awareness. And of course, we cannot leave out the mental health benefits! Physical fitness is known

to be key for many people's mental health and Pilates is no exception. This is a fun workout that should leave you

happy and feeling balanced.
